🏗️ Core Templates Explained
When creating a new ledger (or binding one to a contact), you can choose from these four presets:
1. 💼 Business Tabs
Best for: Freelancers, wholesalers, and small business owners.
- Logic: Focused on "Accounts Receivable" and "Accounts Payable".
- Feature: Supports detailed item logs. If you deliver two boxes of inventory and the payment is pending, it’s clearly logged as "They Owe Me" and added to your total claims.
2. 🎟️ Prepaid & Quota
Best for: Hair salons, fitness coaches, private tutors, and membership management.
- Logic: Focused on "Remaining Sessions" or "Card Balance".
- Feature: A customer prepays for 10 sessions; simply tap to "verify" each use, and the system automatically calculates the remaining value.
3. 🧧 Social Favors (Gifts)
Best for: Wedding gifts, baby showers, or holiday red envelopes.
- Logic: Focused on the balance of mutual giving.
- Feature: Beyond just the amount, you can log the "Occasion" (e.g., "Zhang's son's 100-day party"). The system tracks the interaction history with a specific family, providing a reference for when you need to return the favor.
4. 💰 Personal IOU (Simple Loans)
Best for: Emergency loans between friends or small advances between colleagues.
- Logic: Pure debt and credit.
- Feature: Simple "I Owe Them" or "They Owe Me". A minimalist design for straightforward debts that don't need detailed categorization.
🔄 Flexibility & Managing Multi-Ledgers
You can bind multiple ledgers of different types to a single contact.
- Example: You and Zhang might be business partners (Business Ledger) and close friends (Social Favor Ledger).
- Management: In the Contact Details page, you can easily switch views to see different dimensions of your financial relationship without interference.
💡 Best Practices
- Custom Covers: Assign different icons and colors to your ledgers to distinguish between work and life at a glance on the home screen.
- AI Auto-detection: When using the AI Command Capsule, the system will intelligently suggest the most relevant ledger type based on your description (e.g., mentioning "gift" will prioritize the Social Favor ledger).
